The Bare Floor Maid vacuum cleaner floor nozzle uses only a thick pad of soft felt to vacuum and polish your hard floor surfaces. The wide body 300mm (12.0 inches) is excellent for polished floors including sealed wood and stone floors where the gentle cleaning action of the felt pad will provide through cleaning. The Bare Floor Maid tool is designed with a convex metal shoe plate to which the 10mm thick felt pad is permanently attached. The convex design allows the suction to spread across the floor in both the forward and reverse cleaning motion. Airflow is ported though the felt pad to each side of the Bare Floor Maid nozzle for excellent cleaning against baseboards while the entire felt pad extends 3/8" beyond the shoe plate to protect furniture and walls while cleaning.
The felt shoe plate can easily be detached from the nozzle body to reveal a straight suction carpet and rug cleaning nozzle. The carpet & rug tool has edge cleaning and a center mounted thread collector which works to remove clingy debris spots like pet hair. The Bare Floor Maid has a 360° swivel connector and fits standard 32mm (1.25") vacuum wands used in central vacuums and many domestic portable vacuums.
